Just look at what was hiding under all those year of dirt and grime! The etched glass on this lantern could not be removed, so it was carefully masked, then given a hand satin finish with a final coating of wax.

This table lamp had a break just above the socket where it is handled most for adjusting it’s direction. It was soldered into position, then colored to blend in with the existing finish. New wiring was also provided.
